When it comes to ‘retirement planning’, most people will immediately think of their superannuation. But there is so much more to it than that!
Retirement is one area our Financial Planning team find clients tend to fear the most as they start to consider “do we have enough to retire?” and “how much is enough?”.
While working up to the age of 65 is the more traditional way of heading into retirement, it may not be part of your plan. So what other options are there? And when do you really need to start thinking about it?
In this final WTDTYAS session, our Sydney and Brisbane-based Financial Advisors, Simone Murad and Megan Kelly, were joined by host John Knight to discuss what goes into retirement planning and to give you some tips on where to start.
This session covered:
- the fear people face leading into Retirement,
- discussions you should start having with your significant other,
- tips to work out how much is enough for you,
- what else you need to consider outside of superannuation, and
- when is the right time to start thinking about retirement?
Whether you have your retirement plan set or haven’t even thought about it, this session will highlight things you should be considering and help you to take control of your future.
