Owner and Principal Dentist Mark Calvert took over New Farm Dental Studio in 2014 and has carved out a niche, creating a dental practice that provides patient care like no other. He approached businessDEPOT because he wanted to ramp up his marketing efforts in an extremely competitive market.

We began with a strategy session where we jumped deep into the key elements of their marketing strategy, including:

Following this session, we provided New Farm Dental Studio with a marketing plan that would guide our marketing efforts moving forward providing clarity and focus. 

brand identity + brand strategy

When discussing a brand refresh, we were given a very specific request; to not refer to ‘smiles’ in the messaging or visual brand elements – something a lot of other dental practices do!

The dental studio is located in the suburb of New Farm which is home to Brisbane’s most impressive collection of art deco buildings so we took inspiration from the 1920’s and kept the concept light, fresh and crisp.

We chose to retain some elements of the original logo including the mint colour and upper case but added a gold accent and geometric element to create an elegant and professional brand that brings fresh recognition while maintaining a visual connection to how the brand identity was seen before.

brand implementation + rollout

To make sure the new brand delivers and stays consistent, we supported the roll-out of the new brand identity by providing:

  • Copywriting for internal and external communications
  • Design of corporate stationery including business cards, letterhead
  • Design of new wayfinding signage

website design + development

The team at New Farm Dental Studio approached businessDEPOT Marketing to build them a website that incorporated their new brand identity and a more efficient booking system. They wanted a website that showcased their new brand, expertise and credibility. Their objective was to emphasise their unique approach to patient care.

After the launch of the new brand and website, New Farm Dental Studio engaged businessDEPOT Marketing on an ongoing basis for monthly marketing support under our retainer service. 

To help build credibility for the brand and the team’s expertise, we produce content assets. These content assets are integral to the ongoing attraction and nurturing of the New Farm Dental Studio audience.

Working with the dentists and hygienists at New Farm Dental Studio, we scripted, shot, edited and published educational video content targeted at patients with the aim of educating and sharing the New Farm Dental Studio teams’ expertise. This brought more of a human and authentic feel to their content assets.
