Earlier this year we launched our 2017 breakfast series with a discussion about selling versus non-selling Principals - this was the first in the series focused on ‘The Great Rivalries of Real Estate’. Now, it is time to have a down to earth, practical discussion with our Managing Director, John Knight, together with two Principals of very different businesses as they discuss the pros and cons of organic versus acquisition growth in property management.

Coronis Managing Director

Andrew Coronis is the Managing Director of Coronis, a wholly owned, end-to-end property business specialising in sales, property management, financial services, conveyancing, international services and building and pest inspections.

In his role, Andrew oversees the strategic direction of each department and allied business and mentors his team of 300+ employees to help them grow their skill set and perfect their customer service.

Andrew has spent his entire career at Coronis – starting as a Sales Agent in 1988 at the age of 18 in his father’s real estate agency before taking it over in 2002 as Managing Director with a bold new vision to expand and diversify.

Having now spent more than 29 years in the industry, Andrew has taken Coronis from strength to strength, having built a powerful network of 22 offices across South East Queensland. As a result, the business was awarded Australia's Major Independent of the Year at the 2015 Real Estate Business Awards.

Andrew’s vision is to grow Coronis to a 50 office network without franchising and to change the face of the real estate industry, by creating a holistic service that removes the frustration and stress from the property transaction.



Principal of Ray White Ipswich Property Management 

Deanne is the experienced Principal of Ray White Ipswich Property Management. Whilst previously working as a Sales Agent, Deanne recognised the need for a change in the way investment properties purchased within her community were being managed.

Today, over a decade later with close to 800 properties, organically grown from zero, her award winning company is a leader in providing solutions and maximising the wealth of owners of investment properties. Deanne believes in continuous information sharing between sales, rentals and with our clients. She has seen numerous external changes including advances in technology, the complexity of legislation and empowering the tenants to become more knowledgeable.

Deanne plays the role of mentor and driver within her business. Creating great culture within the office is ingrained into everything we do as a team every day.
