You can then take any insightful value bombs back to apply to your business. But as an extra added bonus, you will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded business professionals who share your spark for small business.

YBM helps create a business that runs without you. Greg believes building a sustainable business of real value requires a long term, hands on approach. A business that can run without the owner is worth 3-5 times more in value. Since selling his financial services practice 10 years ago, Greg has devoted himself to helping business owners free themselves from the day-to-day running of the business and create a life of their choice.

"The Kialla Foods Story: Standing Out from the Crowd and Raising Funds in the Process"
Quentin is the major shareholder and Managing Director of Kialla Pure Foods, an organic cereal grain processing operation based on the Darling Downs. Kialla Pure Foods supplies organic products to retail, manufacturing and wholesaling operations throughout Australia, as well as exporting product into Asia and New Zealand. The sister company to Kialla, Aus organic Feeds, supplies certified stock feed into both commercial and retail operations.
He is also on the Board of Australian Organic (formerly known as Biological Farmers of Australia). This not-for-profit is Australia’s largest member owned organic promotion and lobbying organisation, and undertakes a range of promotional and market development activities throughout Australia.
Quentin Kennedy will give an overview of Kialla and its position in the organic market, the challenges and opportunities and some of the innovative approaches that the business are putting in place. The process and reasoning behind a recent private equity capital raising which was completed in July this year will also be discussed.
