Glen Richards is the founding Managing Director of Greencross and was a co-founder and Director of Mammoth Pet Holdings Pty Ltd (Petbarn) before it merged with Greencross.
At 27, Dr Glen bought a small vet practice in Townsville and within ten short years, had developed 5 vet clinics and a large format pet store in Townsville as well as two veterinary hospitals in China. From there, he went on to build a multi-million dollar integrated pet care empire, which now operates more than 150 veterinary hospitals in Australia and New Zealand and more than 220 large format pet stores.
Glen is currently a non-executive director of Greencross Ltd (ASX: GXL); a non-executive director of 1300Smiles (ASX: ONT); a non-executive director of Regeneus Ltd (ASX: RGS); a non-executive director of US based SmartVet Pty Ltd; an advisory board member of Montserrat Day Hospitals; an executive director of myFootDr and a director of Rhino Hide Pty Ltd.
A devoted family man, Glen is married with his three daughters aged 16, 15 and eight, and still lives in Queensland. His love for animals continues with two dogs, two cats, and four horses to keep the family company.
Glen's latest venture is on TV with Network Ten's Shark Tank which went to air Sunday 8 May, 2016. Glen is the new shark on the show joining fellow sharks to mentor and develop the latest inventions and businesses by sharing their own expertise and investing their own money.

Thomas is a data scientist who uses algorithms to predict if innovations will succeed or fail. He is the Managing Director of WRHambrecht Ventures, one of the top performing venture capital funds in Silicon Valley that was also the world’s first “quant” venture capital fund. He also founded Growth Science, a data science firm that uses these algorithms to guide billions of dollars for Fortune 500 firms such as Intel and 3M. Thomas holds a BA, MBA, JD and was an honorary Fellow at the Harvard Business School by invitation of Professor Clayton Christensen.
Innovation success is more predictable than we have imagined. Thomas shares how Silicon Valley based venture capital firm, WRHambrecht, and several Fortune 500 companies, are using algorithms to pick their deals improve their odds of success by 2-3 times. What if we could improve the odds, using technology, math and statistics?

Ben Southall, Winner of “Best Job in the World”, is passionate about sharing this adventure with others focusing on how to set and achieve goals, take on physical and mental challenges, take a risk and achieve success. In 2008 he climbed five of Africa’s highest mountains and ran five marathons during his circumnavigation of the continent with his Afritrex expedition. During 2011 he kayaked 1600kms along the Great Barrier Reef retracing Captain Cook’s ‘Voyage of Discovery’ with the Best Expedition in the World.
Having presented around the world at conferences, conventions, university events, charity balls, trade shows and government functions, appeared on television and radio internationally including the BBC, ABC and CNN and Oprah Winfrey, Ben’s professionalism, humour and life stories make a compelling event and unique experience.
