Acai Brothers Superfood Bar
"How two young twenty somethings turned a Purple Berry into Purple Gold"
Ben and Sam are two best mates from the Redlands who went from owning successful gyms to a successful superfood bar. Starting back in 2014, the boys have since built Acai Brothers in to the largest most successful superfood company in the world with over 25 Australian stores. We aim to grow the brand to 50 by the end of 2018 and the groundwork in place for International expansion, Acai Brothers hopes to grow into one of the world's largest food franchises with a goal of 500 over the next 5 years.
Taking on the hospitality and franchising world with no experience, to quickly becoming one of the world's fastest growing hospitality brands and the leading experts in Acai, one bowl at a time.
Neto E-Commerce Solutions
"How Neto went from eBay power seller to powering over $3billion in Australian retail sales"
Ryan Murtagh is the founder and CEO of retail management platform, Neto. Established in 2009, Ryan built the business based on a need in the marketplace for a retail management platform that provides a complete solution for ecommerce, point of sale, inventory and fulfilment.
A retailer himself, Ryan understood the industry pain points and sought to provide a platform that could be applied to businesses of all sizes. Evident throughout his life, in his early years, Ryan identified opportunities to operate businesses differently. This saw him become a success story at the age of 14, flipping his school’s tuck shop and selling it back to them.
Having owned and operated businesses since his teen years, Ryan’s passion and interest in retail has evolved into a thriving portfolio of success.
Ryan Murtagh started Retail Management Platform, Neto, after encountering first-hand the problems of trying to efficiently scale a retail business. Nine years, four offices and thousands of successful retailers later, Ryan shares his personal story and the lessons learned in turning an idea into a profitable business.
Brisbane Family Law Centre
"Being different and innovative in a traditional industry"
Clarissa Rayward, is the Director of Brisbane Family Law Centre and is also known as the ‘Happy Family Lawyer’. Over the past 14 years Clarissa has worked as a specialist family lawyer and in that time, has helped over 2,000 Australian families through their divorce. That experience has only reinforced her belief that traditional legal processes do little to help separating families find a positive future after divorce. It takes more than lawyers and Courts to help families through divorce and separation in a way that ensures a positive end to a marriage. For this reason, Clarissa established Brisbane Family Law Centre, a multidisciplinary practice where lawyers work alongside counsellors and financial planners to ensure that clients receive the holistic support they need at this challenging time. Clarissa is determined to change the way Australian families experience divorce and separation for the better. She is the author of the successful ‘Happy Family Lawyer’ blog, providing weekly commentary and tips on issues relating to life, love, relationships and divorce. Clarissa has also started an online education series ensuring separating families all over Australia can share in her knowledge on how to experience a dignified and positive divorce.
